Wanna know my favorite thing about ghostwriting?

It's not the writing.

I mean, I do love writing. Me likely words.

But my favorite thing about ghostwriting is helping an author figure out what the fork they're trying to say.

Writing a good book requires you make sense of everything you know in your bones and feel in your soul so that others can understand it. That is hard when you're in the thick of it. You have so much in your brain that you don't know where to start.

I love guiding authors through the mental jumble to a clear understanding of their book. It's so fun to watch them have huge revelations where everything starts to fall into place. It looks a bit like this:

(If you haven't seen The Good Place, you should know that "forking" is not a typo, and you are missing the best show on TV. Go watch it now.)

This is where my magic shines. I'm good at this work. It makes me happy, and it makes my clients feel relieved.

The joy of feeling relieved

"Relieved" is a weird word to describe the effect of my work. But that's what happens. My clients feel relieved. They can finally breathe easy because:

  • They can see what their book will look like

  • They're more confident than ever that their book will help people

  • They know they actually have what it takes to write this thing

In the last few months, I've felt called to bring my unjumbling, relief-bringing, making-sense-of-the-overwhelm magic to more people. Ghostwriting—where I write for the author—involves all that, but there's a bunch of other stuff going on.

It's time for me to move into more magic.

More magic

I've been working on some behind-the-scenes wizardry for months, conjuring something for people who are ready to write their book and who want to write the words themselves, but feel stuck.

They struggle to get everything they know onto the page.

They could use some help to get past the blocks and actually write this thing.

If that sounds like you, I can help.

The Finally Write Your Book coaching program will help you, ahem, finally write your book! Then you, too, can feel that relief—along with the joy, pride, and satisfaction of doing this thing that's been on your mind forever.

You can finally write your book.
